From an early age I've always been interested in using writing as a medium to express imagination, thoughts and humour. I have been writing stories seriously and perfecting my craft since my late teens but I clearly remember enjoying writing stories when I was five or six years old, some of my earliest memories.
I enjoy the idea of writing as a way of opening imagination beyond the constraints of a visual medium and it offers a place where new forms of structure, abstraction and communication can be created.
I have currently been looking at using narrative in different and interesting ways rather than just traditional structure start-middle-end sequential story telling.
When writing I take my lead from Minimalism and clipped self-contained screen based fictions such as The Five Minutes Films, and the Play For Today series, and other works of compact or experimental literature such as Anthropology By Dan Rhodes, The Age Of Wire & String by Ben Marcus and Aesop's Fables.
All my short stories are collected into 12-36 page booklets which contain a single or multiple stories in each.
If you are lucky enough to bump into me I usually have a few of these about my person as they're in a nice handy A6 format, which I gladly hand out for free. They are also available to purchase from a couple of art shops in Berlin. Or you can simply read or download them in PDF here on my website below.

My writing is an ongoing lifetime project which I add to all the time. Which over time will build it into a large continuous anthology of my writing. So keep checking back for new stories.
All stories are currently unpublished, save for self publishing here. If you are a publisher and wish to publish my work in any periodicals, magazine, collection or as a book please contact me.

Re-organisation
Rather than off all the stories in HTML format I've decided to collect them up and draw them into collections which are easily edited and printed in booklet form.

Three New Stories
Shrapnel, To Police, The Thomas Percival Diaries (1923-1991) all coming soon.

New Spring
Over the last month or I've dived back to my writing after 4 years of just dipping my toes. I've been starting a number of new works and I am also going through all old computer files and old notebooks, which contain the seeds works which over this year will build into new stories.

Cheese & Onion Nearly Finished
I've have nearly finished this piece and will be available soon to read online.

Cheese & Onion Re-write
This short story is undergoing a major re-write, splitting it down further into three flavours; Mature Cheddar And Red Onion Kettle Chips, Walkers Cheese And Onion and Cheesy Wastsits.

New Story The Sea
Work on a modernist mid-sized short is going well and will be posted on here as soon as the first draft is finished. It's a tale of disappearance and re-appearance on the right side of the reality gap we all end up falling in to.

General Spit and Polish
I'm working through all the short stories trying to clean them up to a publishable state.
