What Is Cool Blue?
Cool Blue has a higher colour temperature, whiter light, than the standard halogen. The whiter colour delivers improved night-time visibility, helping drivers see better.

OSRAM uses advanced coating technology to achieve a distinct look and to heighten the sensation of night driving with 100% road legal illumination.

What Does 400K Mean?
The 4000K (Kelvin) rating describes the temperature of the colour. The higher the K rating the bluer the light from the auto bulb. Standard bulbs usually have a K rating of 2400-2600K. Standard Halogen auto bulbs have a K rating of about 3000-3200K. 4000K is the normal rating for Xenon auto bulbs. keep in mind that some are selling higher wattage bulbs - all higher wattage versions of any auto bulb tend to last a shorter time. These 55W auto bulbs will last longer than 80W auto bulbs.
